A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise the browser on a later visit or a later page. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used.
Our own visitor counts do not use cookies. How they work is explained in our privacy policy.
These are set by this website. The contact form relies on them to send your message securely, so they cannot be switched off without stopping the form from working.
| Cookie | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
laravel_session | Keeps your visit together from one page to the next so the contact form can be sent. | 120 minutes |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects the contact form from being submitted by another website on your behalf. | 120 minutes |
These are set by the third-party tools we use to understand how the site is used. They do not tell us who you are.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another. | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit. | 2 years |
mf_* | Mouseflow | Ties the pages of one visit together in a recording. | Browser session |
mf_user | Mouseflow | Recognises a returning visitor. | 90 days |
Google explains how it uses this information in its guide to how Google uses data from sites that use its services, and Mouseflow in its privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking the cookies needed for the site to work will stop the contact form from sending; you can still reach us at hello@walkerthomason.com.
