Ticket Arena and Event Genius teamed up with Hideout Festival and brought us on board to create a reliable, user-friendly booking platform. The aim was simple: make it easy for festival-goers to book and manage their tickets and accommodation for one of Europe’s biggest electronic music festivals—all in one place.
The platform also needed to be flexible and scalable—not just built for Hideout, but ready to support other large-scale events across the Ticket Arena and Event Genius network.
The solution
Our product team began with an in-depth discovery phase, quickly uncovering the need for more than just a seamless front-end experience for guests to book and manage tickets and accommodation. With high traffic volumes anticipated, the platform also had to be exceptionally stable, reliable, and performance-driven. In parallel, a robust backend system was essential—equipping festival operators with the tools to efficiently manage bookings, monitor availability in real time, and provide responsive guest support.
With a clear strategy in place, our design and engineering teams set to work. We delivered a mobile-first, user-focused front-end experience alongside a powerful operator dashboard. Built using modern web technologies and fully integrated with AWS infrastructure, the platform was designed to effortlessly scale under peak demand—ensuring a smooth experience for both guests and event staff alike.
